Okay, I confess: I’m watching the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Not just this rerun; the whole marathon. And I really, really admire Caroline Manzo.
Her sense of loyalty, her willingness to go to bat for her family- albeit in a Jersey way- has a classiness all of its own. Most of the women on any of the Housewive shows yell or scream or have cat-fights. Carolyn just deals with things quietly and firmly, and usually effectively. I’ve got nothing negative to say about that.
I like Jacqueline, too- but I think she’s taking notes from Caroline. As well she should.
